The longest canal aqueduct in England is said to be 145m long and was built between 1793 and 1812. The iron canal is navigated by narrow, purpose-built ships and the locks are operated by hand. There is a small parking lot below the viaduct. From there you can take a staircase directly to the canal.

A series of dark sub-circular soilmarks were identified by a member of the public. These, and some possible linear features can be seen on modern aerial photographs. A small collection of flints have also been picked up across these fields.

Still broken, more planks are missing, some holes actually getting worse!

Alternative rail crossing adjacent to the major level crossing. This crossing is for foot traffic only, and has stiles on either side of the rail track. Useful for avoiding a section of Langley Road, where the road traffic can be fast and sometimes negligent.

Monarch's Way (very) long distance footpath runs through these woods near Wooton Wawen. Rough paths, often muddy even in the driest weather. An off road challenge!

Quite an unusual, but impressive piece of engineering.

At the top of the hill, in the corner of the wood, there's a round flat spot raised up slightly from the surrounding earth. On old maps, this spit is marked as being a windmill. Not much left to see now, but a curiosity.
