St Lawrence Church has very generous opening hours. Inside you can enjoy silence, peace, biscuits, coffee and tea. You can also donate to the church by credit card. Very, very nice and generous. We love it ❤️❤️❤️

Nice to see this finally open! Careful of the open gutters if you're on skinny tyres.

Nice traffic free route with lots of places to stop for refreshments along the way. Recommend the bakery at Winscombe. Sadly, the numerous bike gates along the route are a pain if you're on a mountain/hybrid bike as they are too narrow.

Nice way to link Strawberry Line with Cheddar and the Mendips great views in all directions

Access to the paths from the Axbridge end is controlled via kissing gates, which you can't get through with a bike trailer or any other non-standard cycle. However wheelchairs or adapted cycles should be able to access the trails with a RADAR key.

The Cheddar Gorge climb truly is epic. With towing cliffs, feral goats hopping above and ethereal light, it’s wonderful. As others have said, it’s not as hard as you might expect but does last a while. If you’re on a gravel or hybrid bike, you can continue along a gravel trail just before the road turns to national speed limit, which is exceptionally beautiful and continues right to the very tip of the gorge.
