Nice pub, does a great afternoon tea. Turn left and up the hill for some great views.

This pub can be accessed from the main road or from the Downs Link bridleway. There’s a good pizza menu for anyone looking to refuel.

St. Leonard is famous for fighting and killing a dragon in the forest. This bench with a beautifully carved dragon serves as a reminder of the story.

Nice little sculpture on the side of the gravel track. You see the bird, you know there is water behind.

Warninglid can be approached east-west or north-south. My favourite is to come up the hill from the south. You turn a corner expecting the hill to be over only to find that it intensifies, but then as you turn a further corner you crest the hill to a beautiful row of houses, each with a picture perfect front garden.

Since 2001, the Knepp Estate has been a rewilding project. Moving from intensive farming to processes which restore and regenerate nature, such as free roaming cattle and deer and wetland creation. The project has been a huge success for nature with rare species such as nightingales, peregrine falcons and turtle doves now resident.
