For the average consumer, the route from the mountain station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn to the Drachensee is a strenuous tour, but one that can be managed without special equipment.

Impressive lake, accessible only on foot. Cyclists can park their bikes at Seebensee and then climb to the Coburghütte. Here you'll find delicious food and a great view of Seebensee and, of course, Drachensee, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Zugspitze.

We hiked from the Ehrwalder Alm valley railway via Hohen Gang up to Sebensee and then on to the Coburger Hütte. We descended via Immensteig. It's not an easy hike; sturdy footwear and surefootedness are essential. Including breaks, it took us almost six hours. But it's worth it!

The bridge takes you over the Stöttlbach and offers a fascinating view of the rushing water, the wild riverbank vegetation and the rugged mountains in the background. It's worth stopping and marveling!
