Amazing route, suitable for all ages.

Don’t let the slightly odd location put you off. I was lucky to find this open after an early start. As it was quiet and my bike relatively clean the (I’m assuming) owner was fine with me bringing my bike inside. Not the most picturesque location, but if you’re in the area and hungry you can’t go wrong. Good, normal cafe food, mainly cooked breakfasts etc. Very friendly staff. Would go back.

If you want a quiet, scenic route using an old railway line, this is the choice to make. Can be busy with other walkers, dogs etc but all enjoying the motor traffic free route.
