Super nice and very scenic canal section with nice views. The Staffs and Worcs Canal makes for a good detour to avoid the busy road traffic of Kidderminster. There are stunning rural and urban views to be had from the canalised.

The swan is set on a plain cylindrical column within a circular area of cobbles. The swan stands facing the river, one foot raised to support a shield with the arms of Kleve shown in low relief. Its neck arches backwards and then forwards as its beak points out across the river, and its wings stretch upwards and outwards. The swan is the symbol of the town of Kleve in Germany, one of the two towns twinned with Worcester (the other being Le Vesinet, France).

Nice cafe stop, there are some buke spaces as well, so you don't need to worry about it.

Part of NCN 46, nice and quiet cycleways. Very lovely views of River Severn from Sabrina Bridge and the park.

Brilliant new tea room at the Pear Tree Hotel. Lots of seating indoors and outside, welcoming to cyclists, great coffee and a brilliant selection of cakes. Good views across to the Malverns. Worth the climb up Smite Hill, or approach from Oddingley or Droitwich to miss the hill!

Good path for walking and cycling. Saw a Muntjac deer further down

River licence required to open Digliss Lock.

There's a step-free footbridge to the side, and picnic tables to stop for a few minutes. Advised to use the bridge by local cyclists, as the bottom of the ford is very slippy.
