One could be mistaken for thinking you’ve entered into the world of Harry Potter. With numerous shops selling crystals, incense, spiritualistic and a cult books.

Poignant picnic area, dedicated to the memory of the young Amy Thomas. From here you have a perfect view of the Tor.

Stroll through this bustling and vibrant high street belonging to the historic town of Glastonbury in Somerset. There are plenty of quirky and independent shops, cafés, and restaurants to discover where you can find crystals, healing products, artisanal food, and much more.

Gets virtually impassable after prolonged rainfall, hidden dangers (rocks, breeze blocks) in those big puddles

Gravel track along the former route of the Somerset Central Railway. Ham Wall is an RSPB managed wetland and a brilliant place to stop and immerse yourself in a landscape teeming with wildlife.

Great view south across the Division Rhyne and Levels to Glastonbury Tor

Great views around the area but due to narrow pedestrian access you will have to leave your bike at the bottom and walk up

An excellent route with all tarmac roads (apart from one very small minor main road section), rest all small side roads with very little car traffic. A number of pubs and eating places along the way, especially Sweets Tea Rooms near Wedmore - seems a favourite for cyclists. Good route for spotting wetland wildlife - especially Egrets and Swans.

Nice place for a stop

Pub not open (August 2021) but very bike friendly. Pumps etc available great array of food (not necessarily for a lunch stop)and filled up our water bottles.

Was very wet today (August 2021). so nipped off and up the road.

Good choices, wonderfully clean toilets. Nice map on the toilet wall showing what will happen to the area if/when the ice caps all melt! Gulp.

Run by Vicky & Rob Sweet - local riders know the spot and Saturday mornings see many club groups arrive. Tor 2000 run a 'Youth Ride' from Sweets at 10am on Saturdays.

Really enjoyed this tranquil bike path. Plenty of places to stop, have a break and check out the wildlife. Everyone seemed so happy to be there; definitely a good place for a family ride.
