Summit, great view of the sunrise and sea of clouds if weather permits. Best time to climb would be January to March). Cold temps (~10-15 degrees), bring enough layers for warmth.

Along the stream this location has an interesting example of a strangler fig, a tree which wraps around other trees till they are completely encased. This strangler fig here and grew more of its own and developed extensive areal roots and strong supporting pillars off its roots. To the right is a younger strangler fig that’s encased another tree and now looks fully tree like.

The climb was definitely worth it. The crater lake is stunning. It is inconceivable that this is an active volcano that last erupted in 1991. A tour here is certainly possible on your own, but it is much easier to get up here with a guide. I can recommend "CASA HERMOGINA - Mount Pinatubo Tours And Accommodation".

A short walk to a small waterfall. You have to cross a river 9 times to get there. The river is shallow. At the beginning of the path there is a guide who can show you the way for some money.

Interesting mountain range for hiking or partly climbing. You probably have to expect wet soil, in my case even mud. But that made the whole thing more of an adventure. In any case, wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can become dirty. Take food and drinks, there is nothing on the way. You can not actually run, it is always signposted.
