The Lickey Hills visitor centre includes an information centre, toilets, café and shop. It's a good place to start or finish a run with a coffee on the terrace.

I'm lucky enough to live a short walk from the Lickeys. Another option, from the path leading out of the car park, is to take a left down to the Barnt Green road, cross the road and join the North Worcestershire Path around the two Bittel reservoirs. You could even then jump onto the Worcester Canal, walk along the towpath and through Barnt Green back to the Lickeys Country Park. Spoilt for choice!

Lickey Hills Visitor Centre has a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating that serves snacks. You can also find information here and pick up maps to explore the country park. There are facilities, too.

Lots of free parking but does get busy so get there early

Lots of variety, gentle hills, woodland, ponds, heathland, two cafes. Some history too including remains of ww2 sites. The walks are a few miles long. You can also combine with a walk around Barnt Green or to Waseley. Helpful rangers have maps and can advise on the best walks. A good visitor centre. I usually cycle there or start a walk at Barnt Green station. For those who want a park experience there is a good playground area close to the visitor centre.

Cheap coffee and tea. If you bring your own mug, you get a free refill of tea.

Cafe serving hot and cold snacks and drinks. Open Friday - Wednesday: 10am-5.50pm Thursday: 10am-4pm.

Architecture and engineering fans delight - so many rural scenes to discover along the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.

Tardebigge Locks or the Tardebigge Flight is the longest flight of locks in the UK, comprising 30 narrow locks on a two-and-a-quarter-mile stretch of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal at Tardebigge, Worcestershire. Well worth checking out... and realising that travelling on foot or bike it a lot quicker than travelling by canal boat!

Smells of weed and lots of mental dogs up there

Lots of lovely woodland and hill walks to choose from. Just remember to get there early if you go on a bank holiday, as it soon gets busy.

The Park Rangers are based at the Lickey Hills Visitor Centre. Drop in to find information, maps, books, postcards and gifts. The café serves light snacks, and there is good indoor and outdoor seating. The Centre is located at the end of Warren Lane off Rose Hill.
