The road, coming from the south side, had also been affected by a landslide on the north side, but bulldozers have restored it. The road is wide, and the surface conditions improve as you descend. Be careful on some sections with sharp protruding rocks that could damage your tires. On the way down, there is no shelter until the old van indicated by Tristanbogaard.

Traveled on a beautiful sunny day, the dirt road from the pass to Kegety passes through an Alpine landscape. The road is mostly in good condition. As you descend in altitude, the number of campsites and bungalows increases.

Bicycle shop with a selection of bicycles, bike parts and accessories. Kind owner. I asked in the whole city for two cardboard boxes to pack our bicycles for a flight, and we got them in this shop👍🏻They had many boxes when we were there.

a wonderful pass, perfectly rideable from the north side (09/2024) (apart from a few gravelly interruptions). On the south side, not everything is easy to ride downhill - some passages are very gravelly, narrow and steep.

The flag is a popular destination for excursions by bike. The last stretch is quite steep, but it's worth the look. When it's not too hot, it's nice to just keep driving into the mountains. All hilly and with many paths, not all of which are listed.

Settlement of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR. Interesting because there are no villas here, just prefabricated buildings with better ceilings. Also, the air is good up here and the river is loud and powerful.
