The Lotta Museum, idyllically located in an old villa directly on Lake Tuusulanjärvi, impressively tells the story of the Finnish Lotta organization. The exhibition explores how dedicated women have helped shape the country through their volunteer work.

Gorgeous place, easy to access! Multiple campfire sites, toilet, a lot of firewood and if you go down the stairs there's a dock in case you want to visit using a boat. The lake water is a bit nasty so I wouldn't recommend swimming.

Highly recommended, also suitable for children, very well signposted, fantastic views of the archipelago, the ice did a great job!

Viewpoint with a great view over the Friskala Bay.

Kuuvannokka is a scenic rocky headland in Turku offering wide views over the Airisto sea area. It’s a rare example of an undeveloped coastal cliff still accessible to the public, making it a great nearby getaway. You can reach it via a short and easy walk, about a kilometre from the nearest car park, using either a quiet road or a nature trail. The spot also features historical rock carvings and was once a popular celebration site for Turku’s university students over a century ago. Although not directly bike-accessible to the tip, it’s easy to leave your bike nearby and continue on foot.

Perfect spot for birdwatching on the wetlands of the lake Tuusula.
