The parking place is not big enough for all the cars. So start the walk early. There is another parking place a little bit further.

Contemplating the majestic granite crown of the peaks, headed by Fitz Roy, from the bottom of the valley, is an experience that fills you with humility.

It's not the largest glacier in Tierra del Fuego, but it is one of the most beautiful (and accessible). The route requires effort and a degree of independence, but it's well worth it.

It's a humid plain where glacial water flows through green meadows and spongy soil. The perfect place to cool off on the hottest days.

It's a peaceful path that winds its way into the mountains, offering cool shade. In the distance, you can see the mountain range that you can later explore if you decide to continue along the trail.

It's a wooden walkway that protects you (temporarily) from the mud that often surrounds this area. Be careful, as it can be slippery at times.

It's a rather rustic wooden bridge. Sometimes, if there's been a bad storm, you might find it a bit damaged. Cross carefully.

From this viewpoint, the views open up towards large rock walls that protect the valley through which the Las Vueltas river flows, creating a wide landscape that makes a stop worthwhile.
