Catholic Parish Church of St. James the Apostle The nave of the parish church as well as the southern aisle and the west tower date from the late Gothic period (late 15th century). Around 1900, the old building was remodeled and a neo-Gothic extension was built.

The Mühlviertler Büabl fountain was created by H. Cyzerle in 1913 and consists of a stone basin with rounded corners and a wide rectangular base as a center stand. The middle stand bears the coat of arms of the municipality of Oberneukirchen and a pillar-like base with the figure of a shepherd boy.
