A very beautiful city in Hungary on the border with Austria.

The church is a pre-Reformation parish that was temporarily Protestant. It has been Catholic again since 1673. The church is a Romanesque-early Gothic church building. The church tower and the vaulting of the nave date from the first half of the 17th century. After a tower fire, it was rebuilt in 1857. Unfortunately, that's not for me. For me, the fruits actually encourage me to go to the bathroom more often.

I have also been there several times and could not resist the sweet temptations.

This is where the factory outlet of the local confectionery factory is located. Fresh and affordable is the motto, and this pays off, as the shop is always well-visited by guests from both the local area and further afield.

The fruit is round, stone-free, has a high acidity and low sugar content, and a characteristic, aromatic flavor. Harvesting Kriecherl is laborious, as the fruits are picked directly from the ground, as they don't ripen and therefore can't be picked early from the tree. A personal highlight for me: every time I cycle here, I have to stop and pick some of these fruits. Several bushes grow here along this bike path.

International artists have created impressive sculptures along a cross-border Austro-Hungarian path that symbolically connect the past and the future. The art trail leads visitors through a landscape once divided by political borders. The artworks creatively explore the transformation of Europe and bring this historical upheaval to life.
