The museum and the small church in Reichen Zillis are well worth a visit. The museum is located on the first floor of the town hall, next to the post bus station. You can also get helpful tips at the ticket counter; the cashier is very friendly. Geko

The ride through the famous Via Mala Gorge is a true highlight for road cyclists. The narrow, winding road winds spectacularly between steep rock faces, combining a challenging ride with impressive scenery. The asphalt is well-ridable, but you should expect tight bends, changing light, and heavy traffic—so it's best to ride in the early morning or late afternoon. A quick stop at the viewpoints is worthwhile to experience the magnificent views down into the gorge.

I have to because of the entrance fee. But I don't think it's necessary. The staff is friendly, though.

After a one-way hike, return to Thusis.

The public toilet is located right next to the bus stop.

The Viamala Gorge is also accessible by public transport. The post bus stops directly in front of the entrance. A ride on the post bus is a spectacle in itself. The triad of the post bus can be heard from far away in the Viamala Gorge. On post bus routes, post buses have right of way. Other traffic must exercise appropriate caution.
