Very muddy most of the time, like a stream after a little bit of rain with big rocks but rideable on a mountain bike.

Situated on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, Alvechurch Marina is close to the impressive 30-lock Tardebigge Flight, the Weighbridge pub and Alvechurch train station.

lovely ride in the sun round the lake. no fresh water available after 6 though witch isn't very good ..

Since there's a gate, it is easy to miss. Right turn further down leads to manor house

Tardebigge Locks or the Tardebigge Flight is the longest flight of locks in the UK, comprising 30 narrow locks on a two-and-a-quarter-mile stretch of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal at Tardebigge, Worcestershire. Well worth checking out... and realising that travelling on foot or bike it a lot quicker than travelling by canal boat!

Farmer insists you dismount and walk the paved section to the road that is his drive. There is a further section of bridleway you can ride but it can get sticky if wet.

Well used park with dog walkers, cyclist and walkers. Worth a visit if you are in the area…
