Lovely old small church in a delightful Worcestershire village.

Lovely little village on a hill, with a fine church.

Very nice. Often stop here as it’s on my 30 miler round trip. Wonderful granola/flapjack full of cranberry, pumpkin seed etc. plus everything you expect in a good farm shop.

Following Piddle Brook along Village Lane - a quiet country road to Abbots Morton. Lots of footpaths in the area, and wide open level countryside.

Nice quiet stop for a brew and some cake.

Very muddy by the river in winter so wear good shoes!

The Lenches are villages renowned for their traditional orchards, with old varieties of apples, pears, plums and damsons all produced in the region. Church Lench, the largest of the villages, is located on a ridge above the Avon Valley, forming part of the northern boundary of the Vale of Evesham. There are marvellous views of the distant Malvern Hills from the village. The 12th-century All Saints parish church is Grade II* listed.

A scattering of traditional houses, a quaint village shop, a couple of pubs and its pretty St Peter's church makes Flyford Flavell a tremendously picturesque village nestled amongst beautiful Worcestershire countryside. Lodgings and exellent pub food can be found at the Boot Inn, whilst Auntea Rita's is an ideal spot for brunch. Myriad footpaths splay out from the village to explore the surrounding land.
