Sixhills is on the western fringe of the Lincolnshire Wolds. From the church the view north is along the western edge of the Wolds. Lincoln Cathedral is seen to the west.

The Kings Head is a beautiful, thatched-roof pub located in Tealby, and holds the impressive title of the oldest pub in Lincolnshire, being established since 1397. The pub is open daily from 12pm, and serves up a delicious range of local dishes in a cosy setting.

This pond provides a perfect opportunity to stop, have a breather and eat some lunch or a snack if you require more fuel! If you haven't brought your own and feel a bit peckish, continue past the ponds (with them on your right) to the forest cafe.
