Nice view but the road is partially covered with sand, so take care and reduce speed. Also need to clean bike drivetrain after the trip😅

The North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point is a popular visitor attraction looking out to the North Sea. It serves as a visitor centre and educational facility and also has a cafe with a licenced bar. The coastal area around the observatory is home to a variety of wildlife, including seabirds and coastal flora. There are bike racks outside, making this a perfect spot to enjoy a drink whilst looking out to sea with the impressive panoramic views.

Gibraltar Point Visitor Centre is part of a nature reserve on the Lincolnshire coast running southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. It's managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and features a cafe overlooking the diverse habitat of Gibraltar Point.

In the tiny hamlet of 'Hannah', you'll stumble across St Andrews Church, a simple Georgian, Grade I listed building with original oak panelled box pews. It's perched on small hill with lovely views over the surrounding area. Inside is an interesting two decker pulpit and unusual three sided altar.

At the entrance to this iconic resort is large concrete lettering spelling out ‘Butlins - Skegness Resort’. In 1936 this was the first Butlins holiday camp to open in the UK, and was given Grade II protected status as a piece of British history.

Fantastic cycleway along the attractive promenade in Sutton on Sea. Picture endless vistas of deserted sandy beach and a collection of multi-coloured beach huts as you make your way down the shore.

These are interesting retro-style beach huts with curved A-shaped corrugated iron roofs. They line the edge of the 'Cycleway 2000', a concrete beach promenade running from Mablethopre to Sutton-on-Sea.

Eat here. Don't think, just do it. Lovely spot, rock solid posts for locking your bikes to, indoor and outdoor seating, wonderful cycling fuel, and the ice cream is heavenly. Cracking cuppa too. Only 150 yards from the back lanes away from the main road too.

Skegness Pier is currently 118m long, but once stretched 562m into the sea. Even so it remains a significant landmark on the coast, and there are plans to restore its full length.
