Chapel St Leonards beach is an unspoiled, sandy beach over dunes looking out to Race Bank wind farm on the North Sea. The beach stretches for miles beyond the town in both directions and has a concrete path for cyclists and pedestrians running alongside it.

Bateman's Brewery is a brilliant family-run brewery dating back to 1874. It's a well known spot in the historic town of Wainfleet and serves up some delicious beverages (alcoholic and not) as well as some fab food.

Skegness Pier is currently 118m long, but once stretched 562m into the sea. Even so it remains a significant landmark on the coast, and there are plans to restore its full length. As it is now, it's a nice measured 100m sprint along the boardwalks to the pier's end.

Visitor centre has a great cafe with views across The Wash, check Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust website for opening times which vary during the year. Note there is a parking charge. You will be able to pick up a good free map of the reserve with all the routes marked, a lot of the paths are not that obvious.
