10월 3, 2020, Water Rail Way (NCN Route 1)
We followed NCN 1 from Lincoln to Martin Dales on the form Lincoln to Boston Water Railway Line. The railway lines runs between the River Witham and South Delph. Dotted along the route are various commissioned sculptures and viewing areas. You can see for miles over the fens and waterways. We had a lovely warm afternoon sun to accompany us on our final miles of the day. More information at: https://www.sustrans.org.uk/find-other-routes/water-rail-way/

Towering seven-stories, Maud Foster Windmill is a wonderful five sail windmill on the Maud Foster Drain in Boston. Measuring 80 feet (24.38 m), the windmill is one of the largest operating windmills in England. The windmill was built in 1819 to grind corn and it operated until 1948. In 1988, the windmill was bought and restored back to its former glory. You can visit the mill, enjoy the views overlooking the town from its balcony, and tuck into a bowl of porridge in the shop.

6월 16, 2018, St Botolph's Church (Boston Stump)
The church is officially called St Botolph's Church of the Parish of Boston, but is known as the Boston Stump. What makes the church so special is its 83 meter high church tower, whose top is an octagon. As the church spire towers over everything and you can see it from afar, it is also called a lighthouse.
