So much peace and quiet, right on the outskirts of the district town.

Geese and ducks use this tranquil park to raise their young each year. Furthermore, a wide variety of events organized by the city, the district, and various clubs and institutions take place here throughout the year.

The old castle, the historic stables, and the town hall stand in stark contrast to the bright, newly developed city center. Yet, everything invites you to linger and explore. Whether you're enjoying an ice cream in one of the cafés, a kebab by the Luhe River, or shopping in one of the small, locally owned shops, everyone will find something to their liking.

From Bahlburg to Luhdorf, between fields and forests, and along the Luhe River, you pass the canoe launching point. Those with energy left can also venture into the canal by kayak.

Nice little place on my route..

It's worth taking a break here. It's certainly too crowded on weekends when the weather's nice. But during the week, it's a truly worthwhile place for a drink or lunch break.

Cooling down is difficult because the grass on the bank has grown very high.

It's worth cycling past there, as the route is car-free and easy to cycle :-)
