Steep but great views from the top! Makes a great circular walk with the Nene Valley Way.

If you don't fancy the stepping stones - Coming from the West, go straight on from Jerusalem steps or right from the bridleway, over the bridge (highlighted) then immediately left along the field edge. Coming from Whiston go left just before the ford (you will see the track) and follow the field edge until you get to the bridge then cross the stream there.

Lovely old packhorse bridge not far from Cogenhoe Mill Caravan Park, located on the bridleway/access track between Cogenhoe Mill and Ecton Lane. Nice place to stop for a refresher/breather on your travels

Prsumably the remains of an old fortification - doesn't seem to be any way of getting close.

A great spot to check out the local waterbird life. Expect to find the likes of Canada Goose, Ring-necked Pheasant and Great Crested Grebe

Take a seat on the grass and enjoy the wonderful views across the reservoir.

The ford is too deep to paddle through in walking boots but there are some rather tricky stepping stones to one side that you can use to get across.

A pumphouse converted cafe with a lovely picnic area which makes for a great spot to grab a refreshment.
