A nice pub along the trail. Great place to meet and finish a bike ride you get get coffee from the little van if it’s open or obvs a post ride pint 🍺

Swansea bay is a great long stretch of beach and in one direction you have the city and the other direction you have Mumbles. Theres lots of cafes and places to visit and you can either walk on the footpath or along the beach. There are always lots of shells and things washed up so great for beach combing or exploring with kids

If it’s been even remotely damp, you NEED mudguards or ass-savers!

Opened in 1984 in Mumbles parlour has proved a favourite with tourists and locals alike. With short walks to the beach and historic Mumbles Pier it truly is ice cream at the seaside! Purely perfect

This lovely cycle and walking path was a steelworks until the 1980s. Steel sculptures commemorate the town’s industrial heritage along certain points of the path.

Rough ground on the cycle path, would recommend gravel bike or more

Llanelli's wetland centre is a vast area of ponds, marshes and enclosures. There's plenty of amazing birdwatching to be had here, from native herons to Caribbean flamingoes calling the centre home. The Millennium Coastal Path cycle and hiking route goes past the centre and it's easy to visit. Great place to spend some quality time when it reopens

Remains of the Clyne Valley Brickworks all along the path seemed to have been completely laid down by bricks

This pillbox is at the southwest end of a bridge that crosses the dismantled railway that has become Clyne Valley cycle path. The pillbox defends the bridge and the top of a set of steps that lead from bridge down into the railway cutting. You can get into it as well

Simply world famous best ice cream in the world! I frequently enjoy a chocolate sundae, marshmallow sundae, the best is the chocolate north pole in my opinion.

Good seating area outside for a quick pint along the cycle

Super smooth cycle path along a historic old railway line.

Huge beach at low tide. Nice for beachcombing.
