Holy Trinity Church is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The church was built in 1838 as an evangelical alternative to the parish church of Runcorn. The cost was met by public subscription, with John and Thomas Johnson, soap and alkali manufacturers, being the principal subscribers. It was designed by Joseph Hartley, a local architect, and the church was built by William Rigby, a local builder. A centre built in celebration of the author and poet, Lewis Carroll, known for writing the world famous "Alice in Wonderland". The centre holds a history on the author, as well as a prominent Alice in Wonderland stained glass window.

Daresbury Tower and Laboratory has pushed the boundaries of modern science. Over 60 years on, it is internationally recognised for world-leading scientific excellence in a diverse variety of fields ranging from nuclear physics to supercomputing.

This was a commercial plantation – effectively a tree factory – planted over 30 years ago. There had been a woodland at Daresbury in the 19th century, but this had mostly been cut down by 1910. The conifer plantation that we see now was planted in 1978. The trees on Keckwick Hill behind Daresbury Firs are not part of the plantation. In this more natural woodland, if trees are cut down it is to let in light for wildflowers and young trees to grow, or to make the woodland safer and easier for the public to use.
