An impressive oak tree stands like a silent sentinel. Its trunk has a circumference of approximately 6 meters, making it likely several hundred years old. A special place to pause and marvel, amidst nature.

Protestant Main Church (St. Martin and Mary Wilhermsdorf, this name is incorrect) Repeated attempts, even in modern publications, to assign the old patronage name "St. Martin and Mary" to the "Main Church" have been rejected to this day. It remains a mystery why the Main Church has not been given another name, documented in the extensive documents relating to the church's consecration. Perhaps, a "Protestant" reference could be found here, too, in which such a simple designation as "Main Church" clearly gives priority to the functional designation "church" (Greek: kȳrikón = "House of God").

The building complex, consisting of three two-storey buildings made of ashlar masonry, which are grouped around a courtyard open to the west, was built in 1720 by the Knights' Canton of Altmühl, which had moved its administrative headquarters to Wilhermsdorf in 1703. In the middle of the facade on the market square is a risalit, in the gable of which Saint George is depicted. The portal in the risalit is reached via an open staircase.
