Very beautiful old building. Worth taking a look at for enjoyers of architecture.

The church tower looks a bit like "half past seven." Perhaps that's why it's an eye-catcher.

A shady spot to enjoy this idyllic setting for a few minutes. The peace and quiet of the forest provide renewed strength for the rest of the journey.

St. Magnus Church in Lenzried, east of Kempten. Gilding is usually predominant in Catholic churches, but here there are beautiful ceiling paintings and stucco work throughout the church, both painted and unpainted. Four different altars with marble columns and walls, painted wooden figures, the Passion of Christ, and a simple side room for prayer. I've left the church, but I still like this church because it's very balanced, in my opinion.

I live in Kempten and came here for cake, which is really delicious. Unfortunately, it's very crowded, either at lunch or from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., after which the late shift starts, with lots of reservations. The food is rather simple, with room for improvement.

The fishing hut no longer exists. It's still a nice place for a break. Unfortunately, there's no view from the upper bench because the bushes aren't trimmed back. The carp in front of the hut are being fed. They appeared shortly after we walked to the railing. You can easily catch carp here.

The cakes are truly delicious, but the cafe is unfortunately overcrowded and very loud inside. It's best to come at lunchtime before the retirees arrive for coffee, or between 5 and 6 p.m. The food is rather simple and could be improved.

I prefer shopping in Sellthürn because it's quieter than in Immenthal. Combined with a tour from Kempten, it's simply perfect.
