At the top of Alderly Edge you will find this cafe. It is located at the start of the woodland foot paths where you can find old copper mines and tales of the wizard.

Great walk along the River Bollin - perfect for dogs to run across the fields and have a swim in the river.

Brilliant place to let the dogs have a swim. Shallow water, not too deep, easily accessible, only light current.

This is a beautiful hidden waterfall situated on the edge of Alderley Edge in Waterfall Wood. Water flows off the edge of a rock face into a pretty pool of water below creating the perfect forest vista as your passing through.

Enjoy some pleasant scenery as you cross over the River Bollin to join the Bollin Valley Way. This is a great spot for a picnic so pull up a blanket and enjoy your surroundings before taking off to complete the remainer of your journey.

Prestbury is historic village in the heart of Cheshire. The village is full of charm and beauty and there's plenty here to discover. You can visit one of the many fantastic pubs, restaurants, and cafes, or take a trip to the impressive St Peter's Church, or you might just want to sit near the River Bolin and watch the world go by.

Wander alongside the River Bolin on this delightful waterside walk linking Macclesfield with Prestbury. Dogs are welcome, however, be mindful of the cows grazing alongside the riverbanks.

The caves in Alderley Edge are the remains of minework that was carried out here from as early as the Roman and Brone Ages! Written records show that mining continued here up until the 1920s, with obvious gaps inbetween.
