This observation tower is named the 'Boston Pendulum' and was designed by the Belgian architect Paul Robbrecht. It is one of two towers on the Water Rail Way designed by Robbrecht. Officially called St Botolph's Church, the church is better known as the "Boston Stump" thanks to its 266 foot (81.3 m) spire. The spire can be seen for miles around, even from Norfolk on a clear day. Historically, the spire was used as a landmark by sailors.

With a wide range of freshwater habitats, Frampton Marsh is a great place to watch rare species of birds. Each year, thousands of migrating birds gather in the nature reserve. In 1988, the windmill was bought and restored back to its former glory. You can visit the mill, enjoy the views overlooking the town from its balcony, and tuck into a bowl of porridge in the shop.
