Located on the southern edge of the Harz Mountains, Bad Sachsa is one of the most beautiful spa and holiday resorts in the region. Its geographical location gives the town many sunny days. In winter, everything revolves around winter sports on the Ravensberg, Bad Sachsa's local mountain. It can be driven to the top by car. The well-kept town center of the pretty spa town extends around the St. Nikolai Church (Evangelical) and invites you to stroll and linger. On short walks through the town, you can discover many spruced-up Art Nouveau villas and historic buildings in addition to the Vitalpark with Schmelzteich and the city park with Schmerlbrunnen. Attractive events take place all year round in the Vitalpark and in the Kurhaus. The first 100m give you an idea of what awaits you in the last 500m. There is a challenging climb in between. A real challenge. Highly recommended
