Good cafe stop on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It's a good idea to stock up here as there aren't many opportunities once you get into the mountains.

With views down to Greystones and the Irish sea on one side and the Wicklow Mountains on the other, this small climb is a great lookout spot. The tracks are all gravel so be carful if you've got skinny tyres after bad weather, it might be muddy.

An off road track through the Glen of the Downs leads to what looks like the ruins of an old tower. The pinkish stone is glints beautifully in the sun and the view from what would have been a look out point is fantastic.

Tranquil waterfall on the river Vartry. A very peaceful spot to stop for a break with a stunning backdrop.

Great rolling road between Rathdrum and Gledalough. Good climbs and descents in both directions with a good road surface. Some spectacular views on both sides.

Beautiful walking garden above Wicklow. Well worth dismounting and taking a walk around. There is also a good cafe.
