Great little cafe. Good range of breakfast and cakes. Reasonably priced. Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of easy / safe bike storage.

Excellent Sausage Rolls. Always worth a stop when passing.

Founded in 1107 by William d'Aubigny, the butler to King Henry I, Wymondham Abbey was once a thriving monastery. However, it was closed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries under King Henry VIII, with the abbey officially surrendered to the crown in 1538. Today, the building serves as an Anglican parish church.

The kitchen typically closes at hour before the cafe does so get here in plenty of time if you want to order food.

Quaint market town with the usual collection of shops and cafes making it a good place for a ride break.

There are bike racks in the car park outside if you're popping in. There are a few outdoor picnic tables so you can keep an eye on your bike.

Well set up for the cycling crowds with proper saddle rail bike parking (no scratching your frame against a stand, or bending your spokes in a wheel holder). Only downside is needing to cross grass or gravel to reach the cafe. Fairly limited opening hours so best for a lunch stop.

Quite a lot of nice views in this area as the countryside tends to be high and open.

Has one of the most impressive and well maintained of Norfolk's round tower churches, on prominent view across the village bowling green.

Wymondham is a gorgeous market town in South Norfolk that dates back to the Anglo-Saxon period. Known as a centre for woodturning and brush-making, many of the factories of Wymondham were still in action until the late 1900s.

Excellent bike friendly cafe. Good food, friendly staff, nice outdoor seating and decent bike parking.

Upgraded a lot in recent times with a large, partially covered decking area overlooking the water and a bicycle-shaped fountain in the lake!

Tucked away behind buildings and a high fence so relatively easy to miss despite its size if you’re coming from Buckenham.

Great location for a quick refreshment break or a full lunch stop. Outdoor tables if it’s dry.
