6월 29, 2025, Horsey Gap Grey Seal Colony
"Horsey Gap is home to one of the largest colonies of Grey Seals in the UK, with over 3,500 seal pups born along this beautiful stretch of coastline in the 2024/2025 season. Even in the summer months, seals can be seen on the beach or swimming along the shoreline, but please keep your distance (at least 10 metres) if you see groups or a single seal on the beach. During the Seal Pup Season, (end of October to February) it is even more important not to disturb the seals or their pups so viewing is from the sand dunes and the designated ‘viewing platforms’ only. 6월 29, 2025, Little Tern Colony
A truly great experience was passing close to a small Little Tern reservation. There were hundreds of these lovely, small birds, and the lady looking after them told us they had 77 nests in that area. She mentioned they are summer visitors, predominantly found in this region.

This long sandy beach allows dogs all year round and stretches all the way to Sea Palling. Backed by cliffs, evidence has been discovered that humans have lived here for more than 800 000 years. Public toilets are available at the car park.

8월 1, 2022, Happisburgh Lighthouse
This beautiful lighthouse is the UK's only independently run lighthouse. I think they should pronounce it as #HappysBurg as it's much more upbeat and positive.

give them lots of room and sit very still if you want to watch them. (ps You might smell them before you see them!)

Sea Palling is one of the most popular beaches in Norfolk thanks to its white sand and holiday-atmosphere. Despite its popularity, you can usually still find space to relax. A short walk from the beach, you will find various cafes and amusement arcades. The beach is very clean and has awarded Blue Flag status for several years.

1월 11, 2019, Happisburgh Lighthouse
Built in 1790, this is the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia and still provides safe passage for ships around the treacherous Haisborough Sands. Today, the lighthouse is painted white with three red bands, making for a quirky photograph opportunity. It is the UK's only independently run lighthouse and is open to the public on certain days.

1월 11, 2019, St Mary the Virgin Church, Happisburgh
There was a church recorded here in Domesday Book of 1086. After the Abbey was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1539, the church passed to the Bishop of Norwich. The Norman church was completely rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries. However, some of the original stones survive.
