Clumber Lake is a large, man-made lake within Clumber Park, a National Trust property in Nottinghamshire, England. It was created by damming the River Poulter in 1774.

Excellent cycle route, even better now there's a link out to the Train Station

It’s run by the Ashgate Hospice, the staff are very friendly, and they do nice scones, and toasted tea cakes etc 👍👍

This is a lovely section of the Robin Hood way from Creswell Crags to Clumber Park. It crosses betwen Gouldsmeadow and Shrubbery Lake and offers plenty of scenery including lakes, meadows and tree lined avenues.

Fantastic coffee shop in the middle of Clowne (next to Domino’s), open until 3pm daily. Reasonably priced, great coffee & food and the cakes looked glorious but we were just too full after a fish finger buttie!

really nice trail in the forest. Great in ever season but love the Autumn colors this time of year!
