Signs saying route is closed. Difficult to navigate, there was mud & fallen trees blocking the route. Would not be passable after rain.

Clumber Lake is a large, man-made lake within Clumber Park, a National Trust property in Nottinghamshire, England. It was created by damming the River Poulter in 1774.

Good Footbridge over the Ford for when the water's too deep

This section is more than knee deep in water, looks waist deep further along. Fortunately there's a handy "three sides of a rectangle" alternative route through the trees which is OK.

Three light bridges on the River Maun. Two routes North, either through Bothamsall village, or parallel to the A614 directly towards Clumber Park.

Nice little pond on edge of farmland.

Weird tree stump swamp.

Suitable for all the family, way marked gravel rides around the lake and park.

Gets busy but nice spot for a break.

Cracking view across Clumber Park from this bridge and you can see the Ford from here too.

Farm road/Forestry track that follows the River Poulter (although you cant see it until you're almost in it) connecting the two Fords
