Junction 14b is very steep and seems to never end. Thank goodness we took it uphill—not for the faint of heart at the end of the slope—narrow, unsecured, and thorny. I've rarely been so happy to be back on paved roads at the top. 😁 But you're rewarded with a fantastic view.

Small, very beautiful chapel directly on the cycle path along Lake Reschen

The valley begins on the shores of Lake Reschen and leads to the Melager Alm, where you can enjoy wonderful views of the glacier world.

Even if you're not a hotel guest, you can stop by here and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat on the terrace in summer. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended.

The last few meters are currently a construction site and the diversion goes across the meadow, which is why the stamping station probably changes location frequently.

Anyone coming from the Matscher Valley and heading over to Schludernser Sonnseitn has to go almost all the way through here. This section is marked as S1. Technically, it's mostly fine, but it's really very narrow and there's a pretty steep drop right next to it. So be careful!

Alpine hotel, quite off the beaten track. If you stop by during the day, you can enjoy very good food.
