Especially on the climb up to Ladis, you have a fantastic view of the restored Laudeck (or Laudegg) castle ruins. First documented in 1232, the castle is now privately owned. A monument to the climbing role model

The descent is legendary fast and sparsely frequented. The torture of climbing up is worth it.

Anyone who wants to see the Timmelsjoch must fly high like an eagle and be able to see just as well.

A good cycle path through an idyllic valley.

Good asphalt, no traffic and beautiful views make the route appealing.

CURRENTLY (October 7th to December 19th): The Reschen Pass is closed to car traffic and is being diverted via Norberthöhe. The latter is therefore closed to bicycle traffic! The diversion via Altfinstermünz is relatively rough but firm gravel. With 32-inch slicks and a 1:1 gear ratio, it was still manageable.
