A fantastic alternative to the main road down into Bradwell. Didn’t see a single car 👌 Surface a little rough here & there but definitely worth it.

Great views over the White Peaks, it's not too tough a climb either.

Great climb up through the woodland to Longstone edge for some big vistas. Plenty of choice to go for the gravel paths or stick the the road after.

Nice roads and view

A steep climb that snakes it's way up the hillside, challenging in parts but with some flattish sections to recover on. Fantastic views over towards Hathersage and all along a very quiet road, it joins up with the top of the climb of Sir William Hill from Grindelford so you can either keep on going or enjoying sailing down into Grindelford.

Great stop but no toilet 🤷🏼‍♂️

There are a few different routes to make your way upto Abney but this for me is one of the best. It's hilly all the way up but plateauxs a few times before climbing up again, it's generally always very quiet and offers wonderful views over Hope Valley as you climb. There are a few trails leading off the road that are great if you are on a gravel bike or similar too.

One of the best roads in the Peak District, frequently has me in tears (in a good way).
