Steep, busy with cars and tourists, but beautiful scenery. Worth the pain.

Awesome massive descent if you come from the right side Big pillars either side of the pass make it feel like a canyon

Great views over the White Peaks, it's not too tough a climb either.

Great climb up through the woodland to Longstone edge for some big vistas. Plenty of choice to go for the gravel paths or stick the the road after.

Nice roads and view

A steep climb that snakes it's way up the hillside, challenging in parts but with some flattish sections to recover on. Fantastic views over towards Hathersage and all along a very quiet road, it joins up with the top of the climb of Sir William Hill from Grindelford so you can either keep on going or enjoying sailing down into Grindelford.

It's tough, but not crazy. Beautiful on a sunny day.

Gorgeous in either direction, almost always traffic free. Has roadside campers most of the year round.

It's not the highest or toughest in the Peak District, but it's quiet and pretty and enjoyable to ride.

Old road closed to most traffic but still accessible by bike/foot. The diversion signs are for vehicles.

Challenging/tasty climb. Or... fun downhill after climbing Mam Nick, whichever way you prefer. Either way around, absolutely breathtaking views! The road isn't super wide, so do be mindful of cars, whether you're ascending or descending :)

Fantastic cafe, most reasonably priced in the village. Cakes, warm food, and staff are all top notch 🤓👌

Abney road climb is my favourite road climb in the Peak District

Great viewing point for the river Wye below.

Great spot to watch the gliders take off and grab 5 mins if you've cycled up from Hathersage.

Fantastic route upto Abney, there are plenty of others and they are all very hilly but this one is slightly less so, quieter and through pretty valleys and countryside. Super views of the peak district from all sides.

Probably my favourite Peak District climb. Plenty of variation in gradient, lovely views across the Hope Valley and also pretty quiet with other road traffic.

A good place to stop for a meal or just a snack.

Lovely country Rd that links between Little Hucklow and Bradwell head. Either direction is leading you onto quiet roads high up offering amazing views of Hope valley.
