This coffee stop came recommended and it did not disappoint. The food and drink was excellant but allow time because it was busy and often is!

Lying in a picturesque setting, at Christchurch Meadow, Belper Town's stadium has a current capacity of 2,600.

The cemetery, which occupies about 6 hectares, was opened by the Belper Burial Board in 1859. Excellent views are afforded from many parts of the cemetery, to the north-west, west and south-west, now (2003) in some parts obscured by mature, and predominantly evergreen, tree and shrub growth. The site is on the valley slope of the River Derwent rising steeply to the east. Opened in 1859 and laid out by William Barron; the chapels and lodge designed by the Birmingham architect, Edward Holmes.

The Cromford Canal ran 14.5 miles (23.3 km) from Cromford just south of Matlock to the Erewash Canal. The canal was agreed in 1789 and completed by 1794. The canal mostly carried coal, iron and lead ore from the mines of the High Peak as well as spun cotton from the mills. The canal stopped being used commercially in the mid 1900's when railways took over. Some sections have been restored more recently and it's a very pleasant, flat and well surfaced trail to walk along.

Claimed to be among the world’s oldest surviving railway workshops, the High Peak Junction Workshops were built around 1830 and are now faithfully restored to how they would have looked in the 1880s.

The bridge gives access to Crich Chase, former royal hunting grounds and now a public nature reserve.

High Peak Junction was where the Old Comford and High Peak railway met the Cromford Canal. It is now a great spot to take a break with a shop that sells hot drinks and snacks.
