The photo was taken from the north side of the Humber estuary. The bridge can be seen here in full effect, it is an amazing piece of engineering at 1410mtrs long it used to be the longest suspension bridge in the world. It took 8 years to build

Small, very beautiful nature reserve, formerly a clay/lime pit. Amazingly diverse bird life - lots of young birds in June.

Really nice country park so many little trails and walks. Feels a bit like being in the jungle in some bits. There’s a pond and benches and information about the area.

Parking is available nearer to the city side of the bridge.

Construction of the bridge finally began on July 26, 1972. The planning of the construction was carried out by Freeman Fox & Partners (now called Hyder Consulting). The superstructure was carried out by a joint venture led by Sir William Arrol & Co., at the time part of Northern Engineering Industries plc. The other partners were Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Co., John Thompson Ltd. and Dorman Long. It's just a big bridge, but the cycle paths hanging off the side over the water do always feel special. Great views regardless of which side you ride on

Great walks around the Humber bridge area and a great cafe on the South side of the bridge! However, this is not a landmark of HULL!!! It is a landmark of the Humber estuary and the surrounding area.

Area at Cliff Road is a great place and see the bridge in its entirety. Less then 5 min walk to country park.

Great area to ether start The Viking Way or The Wolds Way. Would personally recommend parking on Cliff Road as more parking. Depending on time of year ice cream van is available.

Has a car park so can park and explore the area. I would recommend going around the grounds aswell as the front to experience all the area.

Can do some very nice walks around here, parking is also available.

Ensure a windproof jacket as this can make the walk very uncomfortable
