Built in 2001 for over £4m, the York Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Ouse in York, England. It connects New Walk to Terry Avenue, south of the city centre, and is part of a popular circular walking route. The bridge was designed to shorten the walking and cycling routes for people in the South Bank area of the city to the University of York and the city centre. The last time I used this was the 17th April and it was very muddy in the woods as previously mentioned but it was also a mudbath after the open section across the farmland nearer to the buildings

Quite a bumpy track in the middle section. The top/north side in the woods had a bit that was unpaved and very muddy. Suitable for the gravel bike.
