The beautiful green space in Aldridge village, with its lovely mature trees. Lovely for picnics in the summer. A children's park to the side keeps the little ones happy.

Such a lovely park with something for everyone. playground for the kids. Workout machines for some fitness and lovely plants, shrubs and rare species of conifers and other trees. there's also a children's nature trail.

Fradley Junction, where the Coventry Canal meets the Trent & Mersey Canal, hosts a great little café over-looking the canal, with facilities in the courtyard. A pub, nature reserve and action at the canal locks make this a great place to have refreshments after your run. Can get a little busy due to location.

Blithfield reservoir was built in 1953 to supply drinking water to the surrounding area. The reservoir and surrounding woodland have been designated as a a SSSI due to the important bird life in the area. The causeway that crosses the reservoir gives good views across the water so do stop and have a look around.

The bridge is over the Birmingham and Fazely Canal which is parallel to the road at this point. You'll have to push your bike to view it properly.
