Great to get make progress indeed, but I find it quite dull after 10 km. So if you are like me, take some "shortcuts" over the hills or go for other highlights along the path and then you will be happy to be back on the Vennbahn for some km ;)

I live in Walheim and can see the Venbahn. I don't recommend it on weekends, as there are a lot of cyclists, pedestrians, and skaters on the trail. Otherwise, it's a beautiful route. Hartmut

The farm museum is maintained and looked after by many members of the local history association, all on a voluntary basis. Opening hours: Sundays from April to October Summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia also on Saturdays 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Entry to the museum is free. Donations are welcome.
