해러게이트‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 천연기념물

이 조각품은 예술가 Andrew Sabin이 만들었으며 2010년에 개장했으며 요크셔에서 가장 높고 큰 공공 예술 작품입니다.

The Coldstones Cut는 영국 노스요크셔 그린하우 힐에 위치한 거대한 공공 미술 설치물입니다.

중앙 전망 테라스에서는 깊고 활발한 석회암 채석장을 직접 내려다보며 60톤짜리 산업용 덤프트럭이 작은 장난감처럼 움직이는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

The Coldstones Cut에 있는 채석장은 Heidelberg Materials Aggregates에서 운영하는 거대한 활성 석회석 채석장인 Coldstones Quarry입니다.

모르스(morrs)를 내려다보고 덴턴(Denton)까지 이어지는 멋진 풍경이 펼쳐집니다

Wow, what a place! Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Gardens completely blew me away. The abbey ruins are absolutely stunning – huge, dramatic, and full of atmosphere. You can just wander around and lose yourself in the history. The water gardens are gorgeous too –beautifully designed lakes, with statues, little follies, and surprise viewpoints. Catching a glimpse of the abbey from across the water is like something out of a painting. We also spotted deer in the park which was a bit of a treat! Loads of walking routes to choose from, so you can do a quick wander or spend the whole day exploring. There’s also two good on-site cafes, one at the visitor centre, and one lakeside venue. There are also plenty of picnic spots if you bring your own. The whole place is spotless and really well looked after. This was one of the best days out I’ve had in ages – peaceful, scenic, and full of history. It is also a World Heritage Site to boot, so you are in for a treat!

The Devil's Arrows are three aligned standing stones. The standing stone alignment consists of some of the tallest standing stones in the United Kingdom. Erected during the Stone Age and distinctively grooved by millennia of rainfall, the tallest southernmost stone is 22.5 feet (6.85 m) in height, making this the second tallest menhir in the United Kingdom.
