Cycle path between Hubbert's Bridge and Wyberton High Bridge. Be careful of the occasional cow, and the presents they leave behind!

Traffic free gravel path along the side of the South Forty Foot Drain. Can be a useful route into Boston from Hubberts Bridge Train Station. Gated at either end of the trail. Watch out for cow poo, and of course the occasional cow!

this is a bridge to nowhere but is a great place for a stop, and also a good start point for paddle boarders, canoes, wild swimmers, fishing etc

This observation tower is named the 'Boston Pendulum' and was designed by the Belgian architect Paul Robbrecht. It is one of two towers on the Water Rail Way designed by Robbrecht. The other is positioned at the Lincoln end of the trail and is titled 'Lincoln Stump'. It is an interesting place to stop and take a look at the surrounding countryside.

THIS UNUSUAL AND HISTORIC CINEMA was once an early 19th century farmhouse, before being converted into a recreation and entertainment center serving the nearby Victoria Hotel. After the hotel was destroyed by fire, the building was converted into the 68th cinema in Britain, opening in 1922. It was originally dubbed the “Pavilion Cinema.” However, upon completion headroom inside didn’t allow for a normal projection system, so a back-projection system was installed. The cinema’s first showing was a film by Charlie Chaplin, after a reel featuring, The Lion Eaters failed to arrive in time for the premiere. The cinema now includes two screens, with the back projection system still operating on screen one, the original auditorium. The Kinema in the Woods is believed to be the only cinema in the United Kingdom to still utilize a back-projection system. Until 1953, the original auditorium had traditional tip-up seats, except for the first six rows.

St Mary’s is medieval church, with limestone brickwork and a striking tower. It dates from the 12th century and is a Grade I listed building.

The Ship Inn lies on the banks of the River Glen in Surfleet. The current building replaced a smaller timbered one in the early 2000s. It’s a food-orientated pub and also offers accommodation.

This quiet road follows the course of the River Witham and is part of the Water Rail Way, running from Boston to Lincoln. It also forms a section of National Cycle Network Route 1.

Built in 1877, this six-storey mill is a Grade I listed building managed by English Heritage. It worked until 1954 then was restored to full working order to produce a wide range of organic flours. It was damaged during gales in 2018 and is currently undergoing restoration. All Saints church is a small Grade II listed building built of green stone and red brick. It's one of the more isolated church's in Lincolnshire and only seats about 30 people.

The Water Rail Way route follows the River Witham from Lincoln to Boston. This traffic-free section runs from Langrick Bridge to Boston town centre. It's part of National Cycle Network Route 1 and features some interesting sculptures along the way.

St Guthlac is a Perpendicular Gothic style church with traces of Norman architecture. It features impressive stained glass windows, some of which date back to the 15th century.

The Old Chequers is a listed building and believed to be the oldest pub in Lincolnshire. Situated on the bank of the Lymn brook, it's surrounded by open countryside. In the winter there is a roaring fire and in the summer you can enjoy the large beer garden.

Priest Hill Lane is an off-road section of the Lindsey Trail, a long distance circular cycling route running through the Lincolnshire Wolds. There's a ford which can be crossed by a small bridge and some lovely double track cycling.

Wrangle Mill is a Grade II listed mill worked by wind until the 1930s. After this, it was used as an electric hammer mill and has now been converted into a home. Although it's situated on private land, you can see the mill from the road.

St James's church is a large and impressive Grade I listed Anglican building. It looks particularly striking in the morning when the sun reflects the green of the trees through its many windows.

Frampton Marsh features a variety of freshwater habitats and provides close views of the rich birdlife of The Wash. Look out for avocets, redshanks, skylarks and whimbrels in summer. In the winter you'll see thousands of ducks gathering on the freshwater scrapes. This area is one of Europe's most important places for wildlife.

A friendly pub located moments away from the Boston Stump, Goodbarns Yard has a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the river.

Beatiful Grade II listed red brick church dating back to the 18th century. Dismount and enjoy some peace and serenity exploring the grounds.
