The 'Lobster Pot (or trap) Tree' is a Canadian tradition that, in this instance, has made its ways to the shores of south England. It's basically old lobster traps that have been recycled and remade into a festive decoration, fit with tinsel and baubles. The tree only resurrects each year around Christmastime, but there's still plenty to do and see around this area year round, including a great pub next door, The Rising Sun.

The Hamble-Warsagh ferry shelter is notable for its bright pink exterior. The ferry itself is pink too, making it all the more exciting, and runs 'on-demand' daily.

This wreck is a bit more difficult to spot than some of the others on the River Hamble, however it has a rich historical significance. The boat was a WW2 vessel, which can be explored by divers and history enthusiasts who want to explore the rich maritime history of the area's past.

They are a fair few boatwrecks along the River Hamble near Southampton. This one in particular is thought to have belonged to a Bill Smith who lived on his boat and ran a fibreglass boat repair business and was also a poet and broadcaster on local radio.
