There are narrow barriers where the trail crosses the main road. Lovely leafy trail for cyclists and hikers - be mindful of people walking dogs

Nice community cafe with plenty of choices on the menu, the Indian snacks are always a treat.

If you have very wide MTB handlebars, just twist and lift to get them through this barrier.

Seeswood Pool is a small angling lake off Astley Lane. The lake is home to lots of birdlife, including great egret, sandwich tern and ring-necked duck. The owners, Alvis Angling Club, had traditionally turned a blind eye to people walking around the pool, even though no right of way exists. However, due to issues with injured animals and dog mess, they have now unfortunately locked the gate. On the plus side, you still get a nice view from the lane.

There's a picturesque grade II listed castle hidden behind the church.

There is a fence around the Castle but can be accessed for viewing from all angles by using the gated access points around its perimeter. The public footpath across the fields and the paved path from Seeswood Pool will lead you to this and its a lovely little treasure. Parking is not good as it’s off a main busy road although there is a small narrow road upto it which is used by the residents living close by. Best accessed by foot.

The pool can be seen from the road when driving past but can also be viewed from the pedestrian path which goes along one side of it. The pool is used by local anglers and has a private pathway around it. Not very good for parking if you wanted to watch the wildlife.
