If you haven't got the time or inclination to ride up the Zig Zag Road, just carry on Old London Road and go to Ryka's Café instead. It's not just a motorcyclist's café, although you do generally get to see a few nice bikes in the car park.

This gravel track in the Surrey Hills is perfect for young riders and casual cyclists, thanks to its gentle slope. The area boasts a network of interconnected gravel trails and cycleways, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration.

This solar powered charger can top up two e-bikes at a time, and given its placed right next to the cycle parking means you can lock your bikes, charge em up and go for a stroll and a wander round Denbies…or perhaps just head straight to the wine tasting, eh?

Perhaps the most scenic and entertaining way to descend from Box Hill, the Zig Zag Road takes you from the iconic hill down to the Mole Valley. Box Hill is renowned for its wide-reaching views and its vibrant, nature-rich slopes. Both can be appreciated when cycling here.

High on the Greensand Ridge, not far from the iconic Leith Hill, Coldharbour is a picturesque little hamlet. The Plough Inn is a great place to unwind after a ride. It serves excellent gastropub fayre, has a shop selling local produce and also has accommodation.
