Theisendammen is a popular swimming spot for the folk of Trondheim. It sits at the southern end of the Ilabekken blue-green corridor, which runs from the city towards the Bymarka Reserve. You also get lovely views out towards the Trondheim Fjord.

We spontaneously deviated from the hiking route because the dam can be used for public bathing. At 25 degrees an absolute dream. A few meters further away from the easy entrance, there is another quiet corner, perfect for cooling off from hiking.
